Repair quality: I have my car sent to the workshop like maybe 5 times for service, there were 3 incidents where I am not happy with. 
1stly, the 2nd and 3rd service (i cant remember exactly, but twice the service) i complaint about the front absorbers emitting cracking sound when i pass humps, the only work done is that it's lubricated and the sound issue is not solved, I have continued driving the car up to now and everytime i crosses humps it reminds me of how bad this car's front absorbers are. 
2ndly, in my 3rd service, when i took the car the water tank cover is gone and it took me months with continuous request to get it back (how can the cover be missing during service?) 
3rdly, there were also twice incidents (my last 2 service) my engine oil indicator lighted after 1month plus with 3k km clocked indicating insufficient engine oil. (I made the report once of the twice incidents) as it doesnt make sense of such short period and I am not driving like 5k km a month. The 1st incident, after adding engine oil which I have at home of almost 700-800ml, i drove for another 6-7km before the engine oil light up again. 
Small matter - there was also one time on 10/9/2024, when i send my car to check on the push start button, the repair order mentioned complimentary car wash, vacuum and sanitization which I told Ms Eika immediately after taking my car I said no such work are done as the car is still having the same dirty condition. 

Lastly, not about the workshop, maybe its the quality of the parts VW is providing, the headlamps (day time running lights) the led daytime running light is turning yellow in just after 3 years and i have also made a complaint but was told it is the material used in the production which may turn yellow (as explained by manager of this workshop I think is Mr Sundra, i cant remember the name exactly. He is very helpful with the explanation, but I am very unhappy with VW that this kind of low quality materials can be used in a reputable brand). I like the white LED daytime running light, can u imagine how unpleasant it is to see the light turning more yellowish by day?
Overall assessment of the dealer (verified): I have not much of option for service center as this is the closest to my office until I change to another car brand.

Overall assessment of the dealer (verified): Apparently the management has not approved the changing of the part that is causing a noise when passing through a bump

Explanation

Customer care: Staff is friendly, environment is good, seating was bad. Failed to diagnose issue or never even bothered to. Only did routine service and never bothered to actually check issues only because after-market add-ons were present when the actual issue were in original/stock equipment.
Organization: Seating is uncomfortable, unable to rest the head. "Coffeetable" is placed too far from seating making it difficult to place items on it to be reached for later, even a cup. Cold food is served only during breakfast. At least they have coffee and water.
Repair quality: Made reports based on assumptions. Never bothered to actually check the issues mentioned with the car. 5-stars inspection quality is more like 0-star.
Overall assessment of the dealer (verified): Asked to check the reason for noises in the car. Specifically mentioned two areas (front and back). Had aftermarket absorbers installed and was told that it is possibly an issue with absorber. Took it to other workshops and it was confirmed to be lower control arm bush (stock) and lower control arm ball join (stock). Needless to say no inspection was made by VW Glenmarie and an assumption was given during report only.

Service center did not bother to actually check for issues with the car. Issue report only made based on assumption. Only did the regular service but the overall drive experience is still horrible due to sounds coming from the front and rear of the car which were not caused by aftermarket absorbers, but caused by original lower control arm ball joints and bushing.

car.advisor has a fake competence and satisfaction with car model rating. I would rate competence 1 star but it doesn't allow me to change it.
Satisfaction with car model should be 5 stars since the overall drive is awesome throughout the years of my experience driving it.

Organization: No notice to Customers that VW Glenmarie currently under renovation program/progress for better customer experience in the future.
Overall assessment of the dealer (verified): Recommend to VW Glenmarie for not only focusing the customer experience (during the waiting time) but also on the surrounding parameter. I can see at the back of the service center is not properly organised & which is almost similar to any general service workshop. The experience of VW service center still far compare to Toyota service center.

Organization: Waiting 2.5 weeks for spare parts from your supplier- not a major parts but just engine mounting took 17 days to be ready for repair and replaced.

Overall assessment of the dealer (verified): 1. Unnecessary parts changes was added by the service advisor: Initially the SA advised me to change front brake pads due to wear & tear, but included front discs replacement in the quotation PDF. When asked, the SA replied old discs are find (not damaged or warped) but "may" be noisy so better to change together. I find this unethical to include in the quotation without prior agreement. Which became my responsibility to investigate and remove! 

2. Even tough my car is less than 60 months with 80k KM, the SA also put my car on the 72 months / 90k KM "major" service package, which I discovered from the quotation. VW has removed the Service schedule and pricing from their website and app, making it difficult for anyone to double check parts replacement schedule and prices. Also it became my responsibility to find the service schedule to decide which parts should be replaced.

These are completely unacceptable and unethical methods, and caused me to lose confidence and trust with the way FAW conducts its business.
